When is this string of bad luck going to leave the adults?

Yesterday we had a really severe (albeit short) hail storm that downed trees and powerlines, leaving our neighborhood without electricity. So when it got dark and there were still no lights, we packed up the kids and went to a hotel. (Well, several hotels until we settled on one.) I had a big fight with one guy at the Hyatt (and it takes A LOT for me to get to that point); we didn't have "dinner" (a term I'm using lightly in this case) until 10:30; and somehow Starina developed a blood blister on her arm that bled profusely all over the place.

I'm not well-rested today, and I'm kinda cranky. Please tell me that it will all be better tomorrow!

BTW, HAPPY REAL BIRTHDAY, Girly!!!!

I'm not sure why, but I LOVE the idea of DG in Q's costume. Especially singing "The sun will come out, tomorrow!"

THAT cheered me up...and will probably keep me going for the whole day!!! Thanks, "Q," love.

Watching him spar with Picard was always SO much fun! Some of the best writing ever on that show (and I thought they usually did a good job anyway )
