And Miss P, I saw that, but was not certain if that was referencing me or not - I thought it might, but did not want to be presumptuous.

OK - I did not see this coming.

I went to visit the Rescue folks and it turns out, the cat I saw and thought was adorable, they were in fact holding for me, because they think he would be a perfect companion for Zorra and me.

He is the sweetest thing, mild, loving and with a purr the sound of a motorboat. And, he could be Zorra's cousin.

I thought it was way too soon, but they said that it would better to bring someone in sooner, rather than later, so Zorra does not withdraw more. There were others interested in adopting him, but they had wanted me to get the first chance (because they know that my beasts are a wee bit spoiled).

So, while I am still heartbroken over the loss of Stoli, this guy fell into my lap, and I am going to see how he and Zorra mesh. I really hope she likes him, because he is already stealing my heart...

YWIW, since he has blue eyes, maybe you could name him something Paul Newman-related!!! (I don't think I would recommend "Hud" though.)

Miss P, if it wasn't for the whole Seinfeld thing, I would name him Newman ...

So far, the two have not met nose to nose. Going up and down the stairs should be a good workout.

I know, today I have a heavy heart for Tink and Chris' family.

It is very frustrating knowing that I cannot do anything to help all the way out here.

Please give her a hug, and extend my condolences to her.

She is an amazing young lady, and she will get through this, but I cannot imagine he pain she is in right now.
