Bye, Miss P!
*grumbles*
Hi D2 - Yes it sucks to still be at work! I dread going back to my job after Labor Day. I WANT to retire but then I would have to stop going on vacations. lol
Miss P - Big T and I will be in Chicago Labor day weekend. We are going with another couple and I'm not sure how it will work out because the wife is a little crazy. Oh well, who isn't a little crazy...
I just got off the phone with Shira, and after asking her what kind of beverages she wanted when we visit tomorrow, her response ended with the phrase "I am easy that way."
And DGG, yes, ends up the Rescue folks had the perfect kitty for me, and they thought he would be a good match for Zorra - very docile, and friendly, and sweet. They actually thought of me but thought my Stoli-man would be around a bit longer. He went downhill very quickly after the tumor was discovered.
So, on Saturday, I met "Junior" (name pending) and melted. He and his big sister have gotten along reasonably well so far. I will see how things are when I get home tonight.
Here he is:
Greetings from the Left Coast!
I'm quick, what can I say?
Ywiw and I are seeing each other tomorrow, YAY! A late night (late for us, wimps) of kitties and gossip. Life is good like that.
In my Mom's new place - it's gorgeous, and I like it. She's so excited to have me, can't imagine why :-P
YWiW - not helping me control my pet cravings!
...just an updated: Mom and Dad are separated, divorce not yet finalized. My mom live in the Marina now.
Okay! Files are all on disk, ready to go to FedEx, I am outta here!
Glad you got to the left coast safely Shira.
'later!
ciao deeters . I'm off as well ...
I must say, I like the area that I'm in here in the Marina. Went for a small jog earlier - er, the dog couldn't keep up, slowpoke.

Shira, your dog is aged - you should go at his pace. Walk him, enjoy the time, THEN go jog.
And I hope you have a good visit. I REALLY wish I was there

Unfortunately yes, brd. It's not right to be in such a beautiful place and be so miserable!
It almost sounds like some Passover dinners at my mom's house!
Evening Douglas. Brd. I have to clean up a bit for tomorrow - I don't want Shira to see the mess I really live in!

Hey, You. Have fun with the FGD tomorrow - don't spoil her!
Gotta run - happy rest of the evening/night to all.

Q, I am out of the loop, what is the source of your miserableness? (Do you have to pay tuition also?)
One of the things I like about the name "Cobalt" is you can call him "Cobi"!
Q, I wish you were here too!!
YWIW, I never judge messes - promise!
Or balt.
He is sleeping an awful lot - they said that it was normal with all he has been through.
I already emailed the foster folks to be sure - after what happened with Stoli, I am a little paranoid!
And Shira, I am partially joking. Between last week and the weekend, the place is in a bit more disarray than usual. I have all of these different cat treats out, and no one seems to want them, so I keep opening up a different bag and saying "what about this..."
Right now, I am spoiling Zorra while Junior sleeps.
He seems quite fond of my laptop...
"Balt"????? What kind of a name is THAT?
You won't name your cat Sidney J. Mussburger, but you'll call him "BALT"?????
Well, I never!
DUH!!! I know where "BALT" comes from. I just think it pales in comparison to...
well, you know.
To what, "burger" or "Muss".
And I swear, he is drawn to the laptop like a moth to the flame. It must be the warmth or something.
What? No Hud?
Hud is still in the running, but he is two sweet to be a Hud. If he seemed more of a dude, Hud might work. But, he looks like he is more the genteel type.
