I believe Mr. Harris is going to be working right here in Alexandria!

Hi, Mamie
YWIW - you really should have gotten a couple of hot movers to give you a hand!
Hi sweetie. How you be?
(I told Harris he should move to Bailey's Crossroads. All things considered...)

Mamie - we are doing just fabulously! Life is a dream, and I'm in it!
How YOU doin'?

Mamie - I don't know how animal friendly Bailey's Xroads would be - it's all highways! Herndon/Reston would be a longer commute, but there's lots of land for giraffe, roos, etc.
Oh - you know... Up and down, in and out, round and about, here and there,.......

Mamie - that sounds like a ride you need to make sure you keep your arms and legs inside the car on
I told him about the history of Bailey's Crossroads and he thought it sounded very appropriate. Getting all those critters in one of those apartment elevators might be a bit tricky though.
The movers come on Friday, and not a single one is hot.
The pain is going through almost 14 years of records and work, and figuring out what I need to keep on site, what I have electronically, what I need to send to storage, and what needs to be purged.
This has taken freaking hours. This has been the best work out in the past couple of weeks.
Hi Mamie!
Congratulations Harris! I used to live in Alexandria, right behind the Masonic Temple. Loved it!

"How are the adults?"
Always better when you're around, DD
Hi DD!
Congrats, Harris!
Aw shucks ...
Things are busy so not much time to play here. I only have a two-hour window to chat with my friend that I found after 21 years (she lives in Greece) so now I'm catching up with my regular work.

Oh dear - who will invite Shamey to Universal now?
Hiya shames ...
He'll just have to invite her to King's Dominion. Does that still exist?
Hello there YWIW, DD, all.
Actually we have a beautiful, fairly large man-made lake on one side of us and some big parks on the other side of the parkway. And who needs a golf course anyway?
(Geeze - listen to us. Like he's going to show up with a moving van full of animals.)
oh! oh! oh! Harris! You can use all your experience and now be a volunteer at the Smithsonian Institution. Specifically - The National Zoo! (they're always looking for people to shovel elephant poo)

Oh geez - the zoo. He'll try to bring home a panda now.

I'd rather go to Busch Gardens and see the boys in lederhosen slapping each other on the butt!
I can read the headlines now ...
btw, if everything else wasn't incentive enough - West Side Story opening on Broadway has me thinking of a March or April east coast visit. I just must see this show on Broadway.
One thing's for sure - he won't have any more excuses for not going to NY!
He'll have plenty of places in DC to invite me, since I've never been there, but I think he'll be inviting the DC crowd on all of his Target runs now.
OMG ... shamey, road trip to DC would be phenomenal. We could get lost in Adams Morgan, U Street ... I need to get my butt over there soon, I haven't seen my niece in over a year now.

Yes you DO, DD!
DD, it's well established that I don't say no to you, but can we plan this for next year?
Oh it has to be next year. This year I'm stretched thin.
