But it was YOUR fault!
Dear God, I've BECOME Shira
And I've become YOUR FG!
This is getting way too meta, even for me!

Well, the Windex has been hidden and everything appears to be ready!

Well, have a WONDERFUL evening - I don't see how anyone couldn't considering what's happening - and who it's happening with
I'll be looking forward to stories . . .
Does anyone besides me remember the episode of THE ODD COUPLE when Felix, Oscar and Blanche each give their account of the party where Oscar and Blanche's marriage fell apart?
I LOVE that episode - I love that whole series!
And I certainly hope that doesn't become the subject of the stories that are bound to start circulating in here, probably around 1 - 2 am.

Hi, MissP
Did you like MAMMA MIA?
Well, Deet, that episode is, basically, my "gold standard" for parties I attend, plan or dream about!
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED MAMMA MIA. I can't wait to see it again. Meryl Streep is still astonishing me after all these years!!!

Yay - glad you enjoyed - and I have no objectivity with Meryl - I just love her, for SO many reasons!
I just tried to send you a PM, and sent it to myself! I didn't even know that was possible
Did you see it, DG?
I could understand if you tried to send me a PM and sent it to yourself - jeez, even I'm starting to get us confused.
But Miss P, DG?

Ha - I should BE so lucky!
And no, MissP - we're stuck at the house today
It's an unabashed MUSICAL! And it's GOOD that everyone does their own singing...ABBA is MEANT to be sung by us "mortals"! That's one of the things that makes the movie so appealing--more so than the stage version, where the singing is pitch-perfect and the acting is more of an after-thought.
At the rate we're going, who knows when I'll see Mamma Mia! Going to see Wall-E tonight, finally.
Lots of work today - but wanted to stop by and wish the adults a fun filled evening.

DD - that's kind of how we are with movies these days. We actually DID see WALL-E opening day, but that's because a friend orchestrated an 'event' around it.
I'm sure we'll see M.M. - but I think we'll see BATMAN first.
How did opening go?
Mama Mia was playing at the same place the Batman Imax is playing - what a freaking zoo that was.
D2 - Have fun tonight!

"what a freaking zoo that was."
I can't even imagine. Actually, yes, I can - which is why it's probably just as well that we'll NOT be doing either this weekend
It was actually the Preview Gala, big party for the donors, and the cast gets the first audience. It went very well - a very fun bunch. Looking forward to going again next weekend and seeing it when they've had some rest. It's been a week of LONG days and nights.

"You can't sing, you can't dance? So what? This is fabulous friggin' ABBA, for goodness' sakes. Let's have fun!"
Just read this in a review, and I could hear MissP's voice
I almost sent to see TDK yesterday, but did not feel like being depressed at the start of the weekend. I will leave that for Sunday!
I am having web page troubles. My site, which I have not updated in years, now is apparently causing havoc with the Apache servers, and they have suspended the account - which means my email address is temporarily suspended (which is the routing address I use, not my primary one) - what a pain in the tuchas!
And, the more I think about it, the more I liked Mama Mia - especially Christine Baranski - she was wonderful, as was Meryl.
It was a lot of silly fun. I just wish Bronson had a better voice...
We're seeing it next weekend - this weekend is just too crazy for us.
1:25 and counting.
