For Q!!
Wouldn't that be a more appropriate sign for the Tin Man, Shira?
Probably, but the Tin Man doesn't read these boards...or does he?
I have officially sworn off alcohol.....forever.
How long is forever, dearest Tink?
We survived the storm - thankfully the wind didn't materialize in the city so we never lost power.
probably until this weekend, but should be forever. One day I will learn my lesson! I need to avoid shots.
Glad to hear everything worked out weather wise.
ATTENTION, FELLOW FGs:
You may be hearing from our darling little princess. Ignore her pleas for intervention.
No matter how loudly she bats those eyes.
That's all.

"Ignore her pleas for intervention."
Our darling princess knew from the get-go that I was impervious.
Much to her chagrin.
And I won't comment on the penguin curbing issue.
But I will say that it's a good thing he doesn't read the boards.

D2 - Shira hopefully shared a bit of holiday cheer I sent her way, if you have in fact seen her. If not, well, the thought was there!

Yeah, DGG, when Shira bats those eyelashes so desperately, the temperature drops worldwide.
Yeah, it's bitter out there. And the black ice, UGH. Oh well.
Anyone seen Harris? I'm just dying to know what he's up to.
(Happy, D2?)
Almost. That little qualifying (Happy, D2?) cost ya.
It would be no fun otherwise!

You two are adorable.
I'm freezing! We got about a foot and a half of powdery, cold snow. And now, ice.
It's not supposed to be fun, Shira. It's penance.
Wear golf shoes, DGG. I swear, I've always thought golf cleats would be brilliant for ice.

Haha! I should!
I don't have boots right now, and I wanted to go walk in the snow last night, so I wore old riding boots. No traction of the semi-plowed roads was a hoot, let me tell you. I was running and sliding the whole way down my street.
Wait. Ugh. Can't I just say a hail Manolo or something?
No.
Hello ... ventured out to see Slumdog Millionaire and just loved it. It has been snowing non-stop since early afternoon, and they're predicting 3-5" by morning. It's not much by your standards, but adding that to what we've had this week, and the fact that we are just not prepared for this weather ... fun times!
