And with that, I'm off. Night, all!
Wait!
Pray to chocolate Jeebus first!
Then eat him!
Diva, sorry about your tenant. That is a terrible way to welcome in the new year.
And brd - I over spoke, I guess it is a fortune somewhere between 100-150 company. And, I am anything by fancy schmanzy. Trust me. If I were a bit more worried about that stuff, it would have probably helped my career tremendously. I just try to fix thing before they become big problems, or ideally, prevent the problems from happening in the first place.
I was just a wee bit cranky at parental expectations and hallucinations so I vented a wee bit more than I should have.
Anyway, happy 2009 Adults. I hope it is an amazing one for all.

Good morning, cuz! How was New Year's AND.....your birthday?
My birthday was wonderful -- Thai food, Manhattan's and gifts with my best friend. We will not talk about New Year's Eve.
How was yours?
Because it was awful, or because you can't remember?
If it's the former, I'm sorry. If it's the latter,
Oh, and Mornin'

Ew. Sorry about that.
New Years was very quiet here. Hubby had to make an emergency trip out to Illinois, so daughter stayed home with her old mom and we had a girl's night in. We watched movies and split a pint of Rocky Road ice cream. I spent all day yesterday glued to the Twilight Zone marathon. God, I love that show - such great little morality plays AND cheezy 1959 production values!
I drank not a single drop on New Year's Eve, and we'll leave it at that.
Well, let's take care of that this weekend. In fact, let's start now!

I had a long New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and because of it I am very sluggish at the office today! The roads were nearly empty.
For you, Brd:

How did you know that I was wearing a blue dress today?
I'm psychic.
Morning Adults.
Getting ready for the light drive into work, and then seeing Wicked tonight before it leaves LA. Both Eden and Megan are back in the lead roles, and I got house seats, so I thought, "Why Not."
I actually enjoy the show. I know that is a sacrilege.
Have a wonderful Friday.

I am just psychotic.
We are going to our friends' country house for a night, and I am just not up to it! I would rather have a lazy weekend at home, but Mrs. Brd promised.
I'm seeing HAIRSPRAY this afternoon - last minute decision, got a house seat too! I haven't seen it since the first time I saw it 6 years ago, so I'm pretty excited. LOVE Harvey!

We all saw Hairspray here. We are also going to see Wicked one last time before it closes.
Does your job give you an easy track for house seats? I do have a Jersey Boys contact here and get excellent seats at a great price.
Sometimes, but in this case I just went online to see if anything was available and got a seat in the 4th row, dead center, with a discount code.
I would love to see ITH once more before Lin-Manuel Miranda leaves, but I may not make it. Sadly, I want to see The Little Mermaid now, too. I need help.
Hey grown ups!
No Brd - but a friend of the family is in the orchestra at the Pantages, so he has access.
My company has season tickets for the Lakers and Dodgers that I occasionally (i.e., rarely) get, but nothing for the theater.
EDIT - DUH, of course Brd's question was directed towards D2!
