I've got to dash away to lunch at the moment. Away from the desk for the first time in ages!
See you in a bit....

Just got a moment to pop in and say hello... you all are killing me today!
I'm about to brave the cold and the NASTY wind and go out. I've put it off long enough!

Hey Undi! How are you today??
Evident to the fact that Im still sitting here, I decided to skip the Christmas party.... I did debate about it since I mentioned it to you though -- even up until last night when a friend called to tell me I SHOULD go and do damage control just in case he gets anywhere near the 'friend' I'm avoiding... this could turn into me having a VERY interesting story for you later lol

Anything, I am desperate for things to tell people. I think I might ask for the PBS Broadway thinger, but is it worth it?
So far I have asked for:
Phantom Movie Recording-2 Disc
Taboo
and thats it...

...why am I suddenly hearing this in my head?
So am I
What a fortunate coincidence.
Maybe you're my reward for my efforts here tonight.
It seems crazy but you must believe
There's nothing calculated, nothing planned
Please forgive me if I seem naive
I would never want to force your hand
But please understand
I'd be good for you.
I don't always rush in like this
Twenty seconds after saying hello
Telling strangers I'm too good to miss
If I'm wrong I hope you'll tell me so
But you really should know
I'd be good for you
I'd be surprisingly good for you.
I won't go on if I'm boring you
But do you understand my point of view
Do you like what you hear, what you see, and would you be
Good for me too?
I'm not talking of a hurried night
A frantic tumble then a shy goodbye
Creeping home before it gets too light
That's not the reason that I caught your eye
Which has to imply
I'd be good for you
I'd be surprisingly good for you
Please go on you enthrall me
I can understand you perfectly
And I like what I hear, what I see, and knowing me
I would be good for you too
I'm not talking of a hurried night
A frantic tumble then a shy goodbye
Creeping home before it gets too light
That's not the reason that I caught your eye
Which has to imply
I'd be good for you
I'd be surprisingly good for you.

I'm not packed. I'm not wrapped. I need to do a weeks worth of things in one night.
But, I will put on some Christmas music and pour myself a glass of champagne and just have fun tonight doing all my chores...
Party for one!

Posted: 12/17/04 at 2:41pmI, too, have many things to do - so my solution is to go to a friends house for dinner and help him drink a bottle of Crown Royal. Today is Robert's last day of school til the New Year - we MUST celebrate!

Addy...
I have not shopped, I have not sent cards, I have not gotten organized for my return to Myrtle Beach for Christmas...
I am avoiding all this...
Can I come sit on the end of your bed and watch you do it all?
It might inspire me to get my butt in gear.

That's a good solution, DG! I have been finding excuses to celebrate all month. Which is why I must stay home tonight...
I successfully navigated Orvis, Osh Kosh, Barnes and Noble and the Metropolitan Museum of Art store at lunch...
Stops on the way home include Hallmark for more ribbon, buying champagne for the weekend, and stopping by the cheese shop for a selection of cheeses, pate's and other delicacies, which are my contribution to the feast.
If you see me on BWW tonight you must promise to yell at me.
