Oh K--not ALL pink wine is white zinfandel and Lancers.
The South of France produces wonderful rose', and there's nothiung better on a hot summer day than a bottle of rose'. I'm also partial to the festiveness of a sparkling rose', as Addy knows.

Posted: 12/17/04 at 10:38amoh, and to answer your question from a few posts ago - I have not finished my wrapping. Tonight will be Santa's workshop at Addy's... some Christmas music, lots of wrapping paper and ribbons...I'll be all set for my 8am departure tomorrow morning!

Can I take Motrin if I'm not allowed to have aspirin?
My head feels like it's about to explode and it is the only thing handy. But I have to stay away from aspirin products...
#4958re: Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)
Posted: 12/17/04 at 11:01amIs Motrin one of those ibu/asprin mixes? What are the active ingredients on the package?

I don't know...it's one of those tiny little packets with print too small to read with even the most powerful of magnifying glasses... I found a stray Advil...all will be fine. But thanks

I FEEL AMAZINGLY OLD RIGHT NOW.
I was on another messageboard where folks were discussing a radio interview that Gerard Butler did in London promoting the POTO film. Apparently mention was made of Englebert Humperdink and there was a series of posts from folks wondering who he is/was. Comments about searching IMDB and google. One posted a picture. Others saying they had no idea who he was.
So I admitted that I was old enough to know who EH is and to remember "After the Lovin'" being played on the radio. No one has posted since my comment...I must have shocked them all into silence as they realized just how ancient Beacon1 is.
So I came back here to be comforted by "My People." *sniffle*

Hello, Beav - Hope all is well with you! I've decided you have had the right idea all along, and have turned off my PM capability. There's enough potential for drama in real life without inviting it in from here

Posted: 12/17/04 at 11:41amMy mom took me to an Englebert Humperdink concert at Melody Fair in Buffalo. He did a spin, and I got showered in his sweat. It turned me off of the man, forever.

Kitchen is always open Beacon...
It does amaze me how nasty it gets out there...there are certain posters that I simply ignore and do not even read the thread...life's too short!

So tired, tired of this drama
No more, no more
I wanna be free
I'm so tired, so tired
Broken heart again
Another lesson learn
Better know your friends
Or else you will get burned
Gotta count on me
Cause I can guarantee
That I'll be fine
No more pain (no more pain)
No more pain (no more pain)
No drama (no more drama in my life)
No one's gonna make me hurt again
Why'd I play the fool
Go through ups and downs
Knowing all the time
You wouldn't be around
Or maybe I like the stress
Cause I was young and restless
But that was long ago
I don't wanna cry no more
No more pain (no more pain)
No more game (no more game messin with my mind)
No drama (no more drama in my life)
Nooone's gonna make me hurt again
No more tears (no more tears, I'm tired of cryin everynight)
No more fears (no more fears, I really don't wanna cry)
No drama (no more drama in my life)
I don't ever wanna hurt again
Wanna speak my mind, wanna speak my mind
Uh, it feel so good
When you let go
Of all the drama in your life
Now you're free from all the pain
Free from all the game
Free from all the stress
So find your happiness
I don't know
Only God knows where the story ends for me
But I know where the story begins
It's up to us to choose
Whether we win or loose
And I choose to win
No more pain (no more pain)
No more game (tired of your playin' game with my mind)
No drama (no more drama in my life)
No more, no more, No more, no more
No more tears (no more tears, no more cryin every night)
No more fears (no more waking be up in the morning)
No drama, no more in my life
No more drama, no more drama
No more drama, no more drama
NO MORE DRAMA
NO MORE DRAMA
NO MORE DRAMA
NO MORE DRAMA
NO MORE DRAMA
No more drama in my life
So tired, tired of this drama

All those crazy nights when I cried myself to sleep
Now melodrama never makes me weep anymore
'Cause I haven't got time for the pain
I haven't got room for the pain
I haven't the need for the pain
Not since I've known you
You showed me how, how to leave myself behind
How to turn down the noise in my mind
Now I haven't got time for the pain
I haven't got room for the pain
I haven't the need for the pain
Not since I've known you
Suffering was the only thing that made me feel I was alive
Though that's just how much it cost to survive in this world
'Til you showed me how, how to fill my heart with love
How to open up and drink in all that white love
Pouring down from the heaven
I haven't got time for the pain
I haven't got room for the pain
I haven't the need for the pain
Not since I've known you

There's nothin' you can do to turn me away
Nothin' anyone can say
You're with me now and as long as you stay
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
I know you've had some bad luck with ladies before
They drove you or you drove them crazy
But more important is I know you're the one and I'm sure
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
And it used to be for a while
That the river flowed right to my door
Making me just a little too free
But now the river doesn't seem to stop here anymore
Hold me in your hands like a bunch of flowers
Set me movin' to your sweetest song
And I know what I think I've known all along
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Is the right thing
Nothing you could ever do would turn me away from you
I love you now and I love you now
Even though you're ten thousand miles away
I'll love you tomorrow as I love you today
I'm in love babe
I'm in love with you babe.
