No he didn't sing, he wants to make sure he has his Idina hands perfect first...I told him they were but he wants to be positive before he does it.

I don't think it's fair that you all get to go out and play together! I'll just have to content myself with the sun and surf - but I'd still rather be cocktailing with the gang

Undiscovered, I'll cover you with my Idina hands. The next time a crazy homeless guy comes over, I'll just go, "woo-ooooooh-oh-ooooooh!" and smack him with my broom.

First you'll have to get the broom out of Matt G's...you know where he put it.

Oh, that Matt, always up to crazy hijinks.
Nina, do I need to pack a bag? Or perhaps my pool boy supplies? I'll be right over.

Bboobs...
It sounds like the gathering was grand. And, am I correct in understanding that THE Eddie Varley himself was around?
I miss all the good stuff here in outer Mongolia! :o)
But I'm glad you had a good time and that someone is watching out for Undiscovered. (What a spread she prepared a little while ago! That picture made my mouth water!)
*toasts all of you with a tall glass of cold lemonade!*

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

She can clear people with her vacuum-inducing super-action breath intake...you should try that sometime, Undiscovered.

For those of us who had other plans and couldn't make it, please explain what the #@!* you're talking about. What are idina hands?
#3294
Posted: 8/16/04 at 1:29pm
Nina,
At the end of Defying Gravity, with absolutely no connection to the moment or her body, Idina, raised high on her cherry picker and holding a broom in one hand, screams "oh-ooooh-oooh-ohhhhh" and, right in the middle of that, thrusts one hand out in a grasping motion.
Completely hysterical to me because it's just happens all of a sudden. I call it Idina hands and I regaled the adults with my rendition of it Friday night.

Can't be explained Nina...it's just something you have to experience with your own eyes.

I am scared. I am developing quite the repertoire of female impersonations. I'll next be using Idina Hands (tm) in my rendition of Audra McDonald's "Your Daddy's Son." I think, together, the combination of Audra's breathtaking (and hyperventilating) singing and Idina's thrusting motions could take over the world.

You can show me how you reach out and grasp tonight, pumpkin.
Idina does have some rather unexplainable getsures and facial expressions at times. I love her though. She is a sweetheart (just threw that out there in case she's reading).

oh, she can sing any freaking note you write. For that, major snaps (thank you, Elle!). Her hand motion still disturbs me, though.
In fact, the other night, right after Zola had left and I was left alone in my bed again, I had a waking nightmare of Idina/Elphie sneaking into my room and making weird gestures.
