Boobs - I got double prints.

Nina - my singing group. We sing in Carnegie Hall. Right now we're rehearsing Benjamin Britten's "War Requiem", which we're performing on Veteran's Day (11/11) in Carnegie. For those of you into great choral music - please come. Or, better yet, join the group! I'm on the Board of Directors, and am membership chair, and it's the best singing group in the city (biased, true...but we've sung with everyone from Paul McCartney to Pavarotti)

Ah adgal - Britten's War Requiem is beautiful! It would be wonderful to see it. I may be bring the bf to NYC for his birthday in November, so I'll see if I can work it into that time!

Thanks Boobs. I haven't been around much the past few days. Having some difficulty dealing with some terrible news about an old friend. I haven't really felt like playing around here and having fun. I decided to try to divert my attention for a bit this evening.

Well, whoever can't make the 9th can meet up with us before we see "Brooklyn" on October 22nd. It's just I figured we'll have to ruch to get to the performance. The 9th would be a fun hang out, no where to rush to.

Nina - a couple of us in this group have been going through some rough stuff lately - and I know, in my case, coming here has been a source of fun and a great place to take my mind off all of the stuff that is too much to bear. Some days I'm not up to being silly...but when I am, it's nice to know that there a bunch of supportive, friendly, kind, fun people I can share time with!
