As much as I would love to, NYadgal, it wouldn't be wise. I've explained before that I don't feel comfortable attending something that's plannedd publicly. Perhaps I can plan something and have you and those people that I've grown to know and trust attend. We would have to get the elegant and wonderful Mr Grant to be there.

kids - I have stayed up WAY past my bedtime...

And, apparently that's not a wise thing to do...

I want to thank my friend Undi for being such a good friend and sticking up for me on another thread!

(And, DG, if you read this tonight...I'm ok...I survived the 'muy angry' thread...I was able to restore breathing on my own. )

Undi - you were right. The remarks back to you were really uncalled for...much worse than the comment that got it all started.

Don't go back over to that thread - it's not worth it!

NY - you have no idea how tempting it was to take my beautiful man's suggestion and just go alone.

However, if you continue to talk about these wonderful ideas for gatherings, I may not resist the temptation and just show up.

DG...don't worry, if NYadgal doesn't have access to a scanner I do, so when she gets me all the pictures, I'll scan them and send them onto you.

NYadgal...just get me all the pictures and I'll scan them and put them in a file for us. This way we can just go into the file when ever we need to smile.

I don't have a scanner - but I'm getting the pictures put on a CD - and if that doesn't work I'll send them to Boobs.

So - I had an interview scheduled for 8am and he's late...that's a big no-no... Do you think I should be tough on him, or let him off the hook...

Good morning. How is everyone today? BWaysinger and Nina, you think you've both missed a lot by being away for a few days? I've ben gone a week. So much happens here in that amount of time. It was worth missing the board. I had a great vacation and have all but the last twenty pages of I, Lucifer.

My next trip there will be late fall or early winter. I'm waiting to find out when "Legs" opens (that doesn't sound very nice, does it?). It's been over a year since I've been in NY and I usually go a few times a year.
Somehow I ended up in a relationship with someone who does not love NYC. The only way I can get him to go to NY is to see Edie's show when it opens. I'm also looking forward to seeing La Cage while we're there.

O - it's not that my beautiful man doesn't like NYC, he's just not as drawn to it as I am (SUCH a California boy!) Maybe we need to just meet everyone there together sometime on our own - we'll be like the wives escaping for a weekend away
