We've hit that time of year when it's cloudy and cool in the morning, and then by noon the sun is out and the air gets turned on. At the moment, it's about 78 degrees, and the sun is getting ready to start its slide down the mountain.

nice -- it was a nastry start today here in the city, but turned out OK by later afternoon...lot of people got caught in surprise downpours this morning...(not me)
Although, it's getting dark too soon....I love Autumn, but wish it was lighter a little longer

I get out often to So Cal for work -- my company operates the fine jewlery business in Rob May and Bloomingdales....

AHHHH - we're about to open a big outdoor shopping area that has a Robinson's May (and maybe Bloomingdale's, as well) - maybe you'll have to come out for that!

I throw a hissy fit.....no, NOT really -- although I am a VERY spolied flyer, I get upgraded 99% of the time, usually 5 days out, so seat choice is normally OK...but I do have my preferences -- and I know the configuration of every Continental jet to know which is the seat I want

I am pretty short, but the weight could be a problem.

I love hearing 'frequent fliers' talk - for years I have driven whenever I could, simply because I like to see things and stop when I want to. It's such a unique world, frequent flying, I wonder if people even are aware of what they're doing? I sit by the window and GAWK at the perspective - and it's not like I've never flown before. But REALLY, how often do you get to see the world from a bird's eye view?

DG -- I book close to 100K miles a year and still love the thrill of flying -- when I am at a window seat (only bulkhead so I can get out without making person next to me get up -- see, I'm particular, but caring) I LOVE looking out -- of course the middle of the county is boring, but about 4 hours into the flight west, I know the edge of the Rockies are soon there -- it's great...
One of my favorite flights for gawking is up/down LA to Seattle...that's great viewing -- Sahsta, Bachelor, Hood, St Helens....
