Yes...invisible dogs...people that summer in Seaside Heights walked around the boardwalk as if there really was a dog there. Very funny. I remember old people removing their glasses and rubbing their eyes.
How about those plastic square looms and the loops oh sooo many potholders.
I loved Karen Valentine!!

Ha! Ha! I treated my invisible dog like he was real, too! I named him Sparky after Sparky Lyle, a pitcher with The Yankees at the time.
No plastic looms for this girl. I had, and still have somewhere, a metal one my grandmother gave me.
Pop Rocks, anyone??

Yodels nice and cold from the fridge and my 2 all time favorites...Funny Bones and Devil dogs....Mmmmmm
Okay, someone help me here - there was a product which NO ONE remembers except me - called Egg Baskets - a pastry shell which you put into muffin tins, added an egg to each one, and baked. They were delicious. Anyone? Anyone?
Mikey drank Pop Rocks and Tab and DIED!
Hey I gotta go get some more Wacky Packages stickers!

Those plastic looms and all those potholders. Weaving my fingers off and my mother getting a huge stack from me & my sister.
Did anyone else collect Partridge Family Trading Cards (like baseball cards.)

PARTRIDGE FAMILY CARDS!! YES! I loved that show. I still have my lunchbox w/thermos and all my PF Albums. Some things I just won't part with. Don't think I have the cards, though.
David Cassidy was the very first concert I ever went to at the Garden State Arts Center. My cousin and I were ecstatic. June, 2003, I took another stroll down memory lane and went to his concert at The State Theatre in New Brunswick.

Yes...I collected Partridge Family trading cards and belonged to their Fan Club...OMG did I just admit to that?
Perhaps I just missed it...but did I not see the following words on this particular thread:
A little song
A little dance
A little seltzer down your pants????
Me, too, Bboobs, me too!
David Cassidy and I have the same birthday, so I thought I was extra cool...
Love that episode of Mary Tyler Moore..Chuckles the Clown !!!
NYadgal you always make me feel soo much better..Thank You for admitting to the Partridge Family Fan Club...I thought I was the only one.
During the summer I used to keep Charleston Chews in the freezer, and then would slam them against a hard surface and have lots of nice little cold pieces to eat as a snack.
I hated having to wear a supid bathing cap with plastic flowers on it, but my Grandmother insisted whenever I'd visit her in Florida and swim in her pool...
more art stuff -
drawing (or painting) a really colorful picture, and then covering it with black crayon - and then scraping off 'patterns'. Very groovy.
*raises hand* Add me to the list of Partridge Family Fan Club members. Trading card collector. An album or two. Lots of things with David Cassidy's face on them...see when I was a little girl, I thought I had a crush on David Cassidy...grew up only to realize my crush was actually on Shirley Jones!
I just loved that episode of MTM!! What a way to go. When ever I saw an elephant after that I was ever so glad that I was not dressed up like a peanut!
That's funny Rath because I thought I was in love with Susan Dey when I was really attracted to David Cassidy...go figure. Remember what Torontoboy said about me..I don't really have Boobs..LOL
