re: can the adults please smoke?

Yes...invisible dogs...people that summer in Seaside Heights walked around the boardwalk as if there really was a dog there. Very funny. I remember old people removing their glasses and rubbing their eyes.

Ha! Ha! I treated my invisible dog like he was real, too! I named him Sparky after Sparky Lyle, a pitcher with The Yankees at the time.

No plastic looms for this girl. I had, and still have somewhere, a metal one my grandmother gave me.

Pop Rocks, anyone??
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Okay, someone help me here - there was a product which NO ONE remembers except me - called Egg Baskets - a pastry shell which you put into muffin tins, added an egg to each one, and baked. They were delicious. Anyone? Anyone?

Those plastic looms and all those potholders. Weaving my fingers off and my mother getting a huge stack from me & my sister.

Did anyone else collect Partridge Family Trading Cards (like baseball cards.)

PARTRIDGE FAMILY CARDS!! YES! I loved that show. I still have my lunchbox w/thermos and all my PF Albums. Some things I just won't part with. Don't think I have the cards, though.

David Cassidy was the very first concert I ever went to at the Garden State Arts Center. My cousin and I were ecstatic. June, 2003, I took another stroll down memory lane and went to his concert at The State Theatre in New Brunswick.

During the summer I used to keep Charleston Chews in the freezer, and then would slam them against a hard surface and have lots of nice little cold pieces to eat as a snack.

I hated having to wear a supid bathing cap with plastic flowers on it, but my Grandmother insisted whenever I'd visit her in Florida and swim in her pool...

more art stuff -

drawing (or painting) a really colorful picture, and then covering it with black crayon - and then scraping off 'patterns'. Very groovy.

Lots of things with David Cassidy's face on them...see when I was a little girl, I thought I had a crush on David Cassidy...grew up only to realize my crush was actually on Shirley Jones! re: can the adults please smoke?
