orion, actually, you could make it with sage, or olives or anything else that isn't too runny... there was a suggestion to use pesto, as long as it wasn't too watery or it would ruin the dough...

mmmmm Joey, send the recipe to me, if you can. I have a forest of basil this year. With my house renovations I haven't been paying attention to the garden and the mint and basil have taken over. I have to go out and rescue the rosemary from them this weekend.

Good morning, Boobs. I'm not good this morning. I'm very sad. My dog passed away very suddenly last evening. I may need one of those pink cocktails a little later this afternoon.


Joey, I used to make a rustic bread with olives that took about two-three days to make. I lost the recipe. Maybe I could adapt yours.

Thanks everyone. He was 14 and a half so, it should be no shock that he had a sudden heart attack but, he was so healthy. The really terrible part is that my boyfriend (it's actually his dog, I'm the adopted parent) was walking him when it happened in the park. He died immediately and my boyfriend had to carry him the three blocks back home.
