Well, I got up early to get into the office early to get some work done, and here I sit talking to y'all.
I swear this forum is like heroin.

In between sessions on Saturday I'll be working with a friend on props for a production of "My Fair Lady." This opportunity to serve landed in our laps on Thursday along with a 2-page list of items which are "period" specific and which we need to get loaned or donated since there are "$0" in the budget for props. (It's being put on by the local congregations of my Church so my friend and I need to shake down members in the various groups and get them to cough up whatever they can...And, I am not the biggest fan of MFL done on an amateur level...)
But, joy of joys on Saturday night I'll be watching "The Alamo" on DVD with a friend who is slowly becoming a Patrick Wilson fan.
She's a great cook so the snack food is always top notch and her hubby is a hoot to be around. :o)
And, not a hot date in sight... *sigh*

What a beautiful day in NYC...
Nothing really new to report - just had a barrel of laughs with BitterBetty last night... and of course the Debate Drinking Game... BWW was in rare form.
We're celebrating birthdays in the office today - so have cupcakes from my favorite bakery. I brought extras for you all. Enjoy!

Morning to everyone else, as well!
My Fair Lady is my favorite musical - and watching someone struggle through it is . . . well, it's difficult, let's leave it at that

I'm so sorry about Mishka, Orion. I have 2 dogs of my own and have had dogs for most of my life. They are a gift while they are here and still contribute to your life when they are gone.

I'm in a similar situation with the 0$ budget and needing props and set pieces for a show I'm directing in February. It's always a challange to pull off a show with no money.
