I truly needed a vacation! -Actually I was celebrating my birthday. I spent a lot of time swimming and sunning. I had some great meals, a great Lomi Lomi Hawaiian (hot rocks) massage, went boogie-boarding in 6-12 feet waves (and survived!), saw an endangered green sea turtle on my b-day, swam with the dolphins and enjoyed the company of some very special people. We played spades, hearts, UNO, and some electronic game that is sort of like password - and drank lots of wine! Mostly, I relaxed!
Oh well adgal I got some secrets of my own...and I can't spill them either. Reminds of that song...spill the wine..dig that girl..spill the wine dig that girl...spill the wine spill the wine....
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
It was fabulous! I would highly recommend Kauai and Maui to anyone who needs some serious relaxation time. They did the trick for me. Stayed at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental on Oahu. That resort is about 10 minutes east of Waikiki/Diamond Head. That is where the DolphinQuest encounter program is offered in a lagoon on property. The program is terrific!
