Morning, Boobs - I've been reading about the show - that's quite a line-up they gathered together. And I'm happy to see that papa and etoile were there - and people could actually find out what they're like. Not that I think either one of them would be worried about what anyone thinks, but I have been convinced for quite some time that the impression of these two was WAY off base.
DG..this is why it's nice to meet people from the board because you see them in a whole different light. Etoile actually met up with us Saturday night for a drink and I was amazed how nice this woman is after reading some of her posts. She doesn't even have a hint of sarcasm in her....a true lady. She is totally sweet and bubbly and an all around beautiful person. I truly enjoyed being in her company this weekend.

Boobs - the thing is, I've never read sarcasm into her posts. I've always been intrigued when she's making a perfectly valid point, and everyone jumps down her throat - I've always felt it was because they knew she was right, and didn't want to take responsibility.
ANYWAY, the concert sounds great. Ellen Green singing Somewhere That's Green would have been worth the price of admission alone for me!
Ahhh Ellen Greene...fab-u-lous !!!!
Another person who performed, who I wish I had an ounce of his talent, is Marc Shaiman. Not only was his performance wonderful, but he a sweet and beautiful man. I love meeting people who you only know through posts and you meet them and realize how lovely they really are.

So tell me, is Cheyene Jackson really as heart-attack inducing as his photos indicate?
And more DG...when he was making out on stage with Jai Rodriguez after their Elephant Medley...I wished it was me.
Morning all! Is there coffee? (yawn... stretch) BB how was your weekend hon? Morning DG! Wow you are up early..

Morning Mom...the 2nd pot of coffee is brewing. I'm exhausted Mom from the weekend, but totaly worth it. Dinner Saturday night was wonderful. Go to meet some more of our BWW friends who are just lovely...robbiej,joeyjoe,redhot and etoile. They are the cats meow.
Man do I feel ever so lazy today! Got to sleep in (so I did!)
BB< did you hear the news?? Dave is making plans for a big trip to NYC for my B-day next year! We are looking at the Sofitel (because we love it there) So please keep the end of April open so you can help me celebrate the big 42! (Yep I'll be the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything1)
good morning, all!!! i must echo some earlier sentiments about the meetings this weekend... we had a wonderful time saturday night... 4 hours never went by so fast... i look forward to getting together again soon with everyone... DG and Mom, we had the honorary seat for you and all the others who were unable to attend at the head of the table... it was great to put faces to the names Boobs, Iflit, robbiej, jrb, bwaysinger, bobby, and later, etoile...

Mom..I would love to be there to celebrate you 42nd Birthday..you're soooo young.
Good morning. Sounds like the dinner was alot of fun and included some very nice people. Wish I could have been there. We'll have to schedule another the next time I'm in NYC.
I'm glad to hear that Take Me Out didn't disappoint. It will be coming to Boston and I will be seeing it there.
Morning Orion. Just let me know the next time you're gonna be in and I'll put it all together. I hear I'm now called "the Chairman of the Board".
Yes thanks so much for remembering those of us who were absent. That was quite sweet!
So Yes BWW adults keep April open. (woo hoo, we can paint the town red! Or maybe pink in honor or Addy!)
Good morning everyone!

mom - when in April are you talking about? We're going to be there the week of the 4th - 8th. And I just turned 42 on Sept. 9 - must be an interesting year!
I'm still trying to recover from last night...my body is still in shock I think. Plus they put my bus on Holiday schedule today...which I wasn't aware of, so I had to wait 40 minutes for it to show up this morning...not a fun way to start your morning.
Oh Boobs, that's AWFUL. Come here baby, let Mama make it all better...
