Goodnight to everyone going to sleep.
Good morning all... Coffee is ready and there's Froot Loops today ( go on.. you know you loved them decades ago!)
Have a great day all. (yawn... need more coffee)

Morning mom - never really into Loops (actually, none of those sugary cereals - except Life) - but I've got my coffee, and that's all I need to get me going
How are you today - visit with Lizzie on the books?
Morning DG!! I enjoy them ever so rarely (Ray and Erin got so happy when they saw them in the grocery bag!)
Hopefully Lizzie and her parents will be stopping by today for a bit. Anna & Drew are busy these next couple of weeks so they are trying to get a visit in today!!

Mom - my mother made the whole shopping experience easy for herself by going alone Well, if you won't have many opportunities over the next couple of weeks, I hope you get to see them today. My experience is that grandmothers start to wither and fade if they don't have regular interaction with their grandchildren
My mother takes my sister's three boys on yearly roadtrips - kind of like Mame and Patrick Dennis (times three
)
Dave and I feel the same way. Grandparents are a wonderful gift.
I lost both my parents before I was 16. So Daves folks are just awesome. Lizzie is quite lucky, she has 4 grandparents, and 2 full sets of Great-grand parents. So this luck little girl is gong to have alot of love around her and no shortage of people who are willing to babysit!
(hmm.... I wonder if Wicked will still be playing in 4 years?)

mom - I'm relatively certain that you'll be able to dress her all up and take her to Wicked for many years to come!
It's great that you get along with Dave's parents so well, especially since you lost yours so young. I didn't click too well with my partner's mother, and his father was well down the Alzheimer's path by the time I showed up. And I think my mother scares him

Moms can sometimes do that. Dave's folks are a dream. They are sweet, lovely wonderful people. I am truly blessed that they are my in-laws!

mom - so do you have plans of your own today, or are things pretty much hinging on whether the kids can get to visit?
We're going to Disneyland - one of our favorite things to do (which we do frequently )
Gym today, hopefully a hike in the woods and meatballs have to be made for dinner. I like these types of Sundays!

Ahhhh - I love hiking - do you still have colors going on? I managed to get up to Colorado for the peak of the Aspen change - but I miss the fall colors of back east.
The colors out side my windoe are stunning! It really depends where you are. Dave and I went about 20 miles north and the trees just look brown

Well, mom - here in SoCal for color I go to Huntington Gardens and look at the acres of flowers - I guess it could be worse
I'll just take the warm. Temps get below 75 and I start looking for the warm sweaters!

Quite honestly, that's how I've ended up in Arizona and SoCal ultimately - I just don't want to deal with the cold anymore!
In Scottsdale, we'd break out the winter wear when it went below 80
Dave has to do some business traveling to Phoenix sometimes... Don't really want to go most of the time , but come February I could be talked into it!

mom - There are some truly beautiful aspects of that region. If you decide to go, let me know, and I'll recommend a few things to keep you busy while he's off at his meetings
Morning DG..so how was "Take Me Out" ?

hey Boobs - we really enjoyed it. Your friend was very good in the role he had - which unfortuntely wasn't a very sympathetic one - but he played it very well. I think my reaction to the piece overall was better during the performance than it has been as I've digested it afterwards. The extreme word-play which was so brilliant to hear the first time seems a bit out of character for many of the players in retrospect. I really want to get a copy of the script - I think I might enjoy reading it more than watching it. Jeremy (from Six Feet Under) was very good, despite some vocal strain - and talk about an unsympathetic character! My favorite was the man who played Kippy (basically the narrator) and the business manager (who really embodied the joy and passion of discovery) Overall the production was very effective - with the glaring exception (for us, anyway) of a very poor lighting design. But this is a temporary space for this group, so maybe they didn't have things quite worked out there yet.
Morning BB!!! Did you have a fun last night?
Thanks DG! I'll keep that in mind. Come to think of it I believe the place he stayed in last time had a spa... Hmmmm..
It's funny DG...I usually am opposite from what you say...I usually like something better after I've digested it. I sit through a piece and think what am I watching??? After talking about the show with who ever I watched it with and a discussion I usually see the show in a different light with the others opinions. I'm glad to hear that Ian was good. Thanks for the review.
BTW...dinner last night was wonderful. Lots of laughs. Our master, Robbiej, even showed up for a quick drink before he had to go to another obligation. What a doll !!!
I can't wait to meet more tonight at SO2.
yes, dinner last night was great fun! with the honorary chair for those who couldn't be there...

Good morning Broadway world! Second cup of coffee here.
I kind of think of Boobs as the Chairman of the Board.
