Should I take the high road and assume that the delectable goodies have more to do with edibles than chorus boys?

The only thing you need to accept is that we old-timers have a very distinct preference for keeping this thread holy and sacrosanct - that is to say, exactly as WE want it. SO, as a youngster that can watch and play along, you have to honor and obey - but not all requests, because god knows what some in here would ask for

That's what I love - young people who know their place but have a spark toward freedom - oh no, wait, that's slaves . . . nevermind.
So, Pip, what drew you here away from the one word thread - decide you have more to say?

I LOVE that thread because I love words...but I think everyone else is sick of playing. You guys always look so comfortable here...that's appealing to me.

Well, we ARE comfortable, because we were able to forge a bond in common experience from the outset, and that closeness has translated over time into some real sharing and even - dare I say it - friendships. Plus, many of the posters here have met and interacted in the 'real world', so there's a whole different level of awareness that exists.
