pop, you must be speaking colloquially (OOOooo!!!)... the only word i know for "tacky" is viscoso...
my favorite colloquialism is "testa di cazzo"... say it loud when you're pissed off when someone cuts you off while you're crossing the street... it feels SOOO good...

for the musically inclined, ACCEDED, CABBAGE, BAGGAGE, DEFACED, EFFACED, DECEDED, DEEDEED, DEFADED, DEGAGEE, GEAGGED, and FEEDBAG are seven-letter words which can be played on a musical instrument... CABBAGED, DEBAGGED, and BAGGAGED are eight-letter words...

Possibly I am speaking colloquially joeyjoe and I can't find any translation for it online, but I remember it being something like articicapicio or some such. I WILL find out though.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Morning!
The word for refrigerator in Norwegian is Kjøleskap.
"shul-skaap" I had a friend in Norway tell me it was a curse word, which is common practice amongst Norwegians. Needless to say I spent an entire day on the slopes cursing the refrigerator anytime I took a tumble and it was only when I was on the way back to our house when my friend let me in on his little joke.

Undi that sounds like a very wise idea. Now the big question what's up with the fluff icon? (anything to do with it being cocoa season?)
