Hey, DG - you and I keep bumping into eachother here today
Just finished reading How I Paid For College... great book. I want a sequel!
Trying to decide what movie to go to. I'm pushing for staying home and renting something...just need to twist my friend's arm!
What are your plans tonight?

We're going to go see a local production of Oliver at a friend's theatre - which is truly a labor of love because I detest that show!

Weren't you going to do that about a week ago?

Yes, Addie - but then we got tickets to the opening performance of something downtown, so we blew Oliver off
But now, this is closing weekend, so we can't make excuses

Hi Addy..long time no see. I'm glad you finished the book...wasn't it hysterical??? I want a sequel too.
Michael wanted to go to the movies too, but after the hell we went through with Grandma last night when we got home..I convinced him to just stay in and watch a movie or something. We're going to visit a friend in Inwood tomorrow, any suggestions of the best way for me to drive there? I'm assuming the GW.

ahhh - the moment of truth.
Well, you never know, you may be pleasantly surprised. I hope you have a more enjoyable theatre experience tonight than I did last night... my ears still hurt.

Boobs - I didn't see your post...sorry...
What movie are you watching tonight? I had made plans with a friend to go out to the movies, but I'm going to convince him that we should stay in when he gets here... I need to tempt him with a really good idea.

Thanks Addy. We're probably going to watch "The Forsythe Saga". We Loved the first one that aired on PBS, so we bought the 2nd.

I loved the original series on PBS a million years ago. I even have the books, which were wonderful to read.

Addie - if you haven't seen Company (Altman and Neve Campbells little project) it has some great dance sequences - and Glebb is in it

DG - I have seen that movie many times. The dance sequences are exquisite.

I was hoping to be watching The Company tonight, but someone forgot to bring it for me. I won't mention any names, but she loves pink drinks.

Another one that I liked, but is VERY 'quiet' and contemplative is Girl With a Pearl Earring - the art direction is astounding.

Howdy all! Just got back from shopping. (Erin & Ray needed winter coats) How are things going?
Addy what did you see last night?

Hey Mom. Actually...it just happened that a few of us had tickets for the same night (last night) to see "Brooklyn".

And how was it? Was it as bad as the reviews?

Boobs - ouch. I'll bring it to work one day this week and will get it to you.
mom - Brooklyn. Don't bother.
DG - love Girl... art direction is stunning. And Colin Firth is in it. Bonus!
My friend, Mark, just called - and he's going by Blockbuster on the way over. Seems he also wanted to stay in, but thought I wanted to go out. Can't imagine why he thought that...but I'm just happy to be staying home. Time to dial up the Chinese food!

At least it was short. Sort of.

Not short enough Addy. I wasn't sure what was more annoying...my underwear creeping up my butt or the show. At least I got to pull them out of my crack when I stood up, but my ears rang from all the screaming for at least an hour after we left the theater.

Ah, Boobs, I was waiting to see what you thought.... It was the LONGEST short show I've ever seen. The presence of an intermission would have created a dilemma.

Iflit...I'm so glad that you and me usually have the same feelings about shows. You were so on with this one. What a dilema I would've had with an intermission too.
