Turning on the geekiness in me for a moment. Who should I suggest to on the board that if they could instead of listing every page in these long threads they only show the previous 25 (and/or) next 25 pages in the upper and lower panes, they could even add "<<"" ">>" shortcuts to move forwards and backwards 25 pages at a time. This thing is going to hit a 1000 or more pages soon and only get harder to navigate. It could even be 50 pages instead of 25

Yes, I had a nice Thanksgiving with my cousin. My godbaby who just got married in April was there with her husband and her in-laws (still can't get used to my little Shannon being married!) who were up from Georgia were there also. My cousin loves to fuss and went all out. I mean she had candles stuck in real pomegrantes and real leaves that had fallen strewn around the table! I would never even think of that. She amazes me sometimes.

I hardly ever ask for anything, but the brother would be oh, so nice.

Candleholders, schamdleholders. She's got plenty of those around the house. She just likes to be inventive. Some of the things she's come up with over the years, I don't think Martha Stewart woiuld have thought of.

STRESSFULL actually! My mom had to go to the emergency room last night! We will find out today is everything is ok! Her potassium level was so low that is could have been fatal!

The traffic wasn't so bad out to Laguna, but the dish I made especially cause eveyone loves it so much, my uncle heated it up TOO much and burned the bottom, *sigh*

So that was my Thanksgiving, and yours?

Thanks Boobs! I will keep you updated! I am on the phone with Mom now and she is upset cause they don't know if they can do the tests that need to be done so she might have to stay another night and she really would like to go home if she is ok!

Bboobs...Whose funeral are we planning???

Afternoon, all. It's been a long day for far--including a much dreaded trek to the mall...I hate shopping. I hate shopping in crowds. I wanted to slap everyone is a 10 ft radius. Just let me in and out...

*whew*

Is everyone looking forward to leftovers today. I made the dinner at my dad's last night and then we all (including my mom) were there for food and then pinochele. We'll have a repeat tonight...Such a wild group.

Then, tomorrow and other 16-hr straight drive back up to Buffalo. I tell ya, Paris Hilton has nothing on me when it comes to traveling. LOL!

Dogs getting excited when someone comes home: I remember an animal trainer saying that if YOU don't act all wild and excited when you come home and see them the animal will learn not to be crazy. He said our behavior feeds theirs. I thought that was interesting. Our dogs always were glad to see us but in varying degrees of excitement based on age, temperament, etc. I love dogs so I'm always glad to see them and I love to play.

My big beautiful buddy who visits me at work on Tuesday is always dancing around when he sees me and heads right to my desk where I keep his treats. He's a big black Lab/Newfoundland mix with the sweetest personality. He is going to be trained to be a therapy dog so he can visit hospitals and nursing homes...

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
