Now are you nursing fatigue or something ickier?
LA: There has to be something similar in LA to Chelsea Market and its ilk....

And Ruth's Rugelach is pretty good. I like their coffee a lot, but Amy's Bread brews Illy coffee, which is the coffee that is served at Billy's further up the avenue...

there is no moderation....
Now, walking tours with the advent of winter upon us, may not be wise... If you can hold out til the spring, I'm sure to have culinary adventures galore. And of course, all that walking will help in burning off the calories we ingest... Wish I could drop by the Chelsea Market hunting day on Sunday, but my baby sister goes back up to college the day after. And my presence is demanded at dinner, both to cook and eat.
I'm gonna head to slumber now. Hope the day isn't as rough on you as you expect it to be, bwaysinger... Night to Undi and LA, and whoever else is around!

Good night, Cookie! I will try my best to hold out on the walking/eating tour until the weather permits...but that's still no excuse for the occasional meeting at one special place or whatnot...Billy's always calls to me, dry cupcakes or not!

Actually Carl...I'm feeling pretty good...all things considered. I only had 2 martinis because I was driving...but 2 are enough for me. I'm not much of a drinker anymore. I guess that was another thing that came with age.

Actually..Kettle One Dirty martinis are my favorite. KMF loves Manhattans.
Well, today is chore day...need to pick up my work shirts from the dry cleaners. I'm also going to a party tonight at my cousin's summer home in Long Beach Island so I need to go pick up a bottle of Veuve...my favorite champagne.
