BT - I am so jealous of you being able to organize craft drawers!

beacon - I've never done the tied quilts. I hand stitch the patterns. It does take alot of patience...but that's what I like about it. Quilts are family heirlooms, and I love that I can start traditions for my friends! (night - feel better!)

LA - maybe you can teach me some of the finer points at knitting...I've never been good at it...

Well, I'm back from Bette's show. I know everyone is asleep, but I just had to say SOMETHING, and then we can talk about it later

Since December 1st is her birthday, they surprised her at the end of the concert with a cake and big celebration - including part of the audience! Pink was there, and so she and Bette sat at the edge of the stage and sang The Rose together - it was magical.

Highlights for me were hearing Shiver Me Timbers live for the first time, and her duet with Mister Rogers, which made me weep.

PLEASE will all the sick people get better!!!!!

Yeah, I hate driving 287 on a good day, let alone in nasty weather like this. Glad to see you made it in o.k. Feeling kinda blah today. I was so tempted to call out of work and just roll over and stay in bed. Then the sensible side of my brain kicked in.

Beacon..how is that scarf coming along??? Even with crochette you need to start the begining chain loosely or the stiches are all too tight and the whole project is off.
You should have some HOT Tea with lemon and honey...the milk in the hot chocolate is NOT good for you..causes more phelm.

Beacon...I don't know if I would say closeted...I Love crafts since I was a child. I'll try any craft once to see what I enjoy doing. I do prefer crochette over knitting.

BB, I am also a crafter. My love is embrodiery. Mostly blackwork and Asissi work. Could never learn how to knit, and I did once to crochet a scarf. Lets just say it wasn't a pretty sight!

Never quite caught the crochet/knitting bug. Used to like to crossstitch and about 8 years ago took up stained glass. Just don't have time for it much now. Some people are so talented with crafts.
