I've tried. You can believe me or not but I have. *sigh* I dunno. It's just that guy that really gets me... most people I'm ok around, they just don't talk back to me. And it's not like I dress dorky. I swear on the Rent Bible. I'm far too narcisstic.

i'm pming you because i'm afraid to post it.
Do I get a PM or only Som? What good is a big sis on here if she can't dole out blunt advice?
Som - Okay, that's good. At least you dress well, otherwise we simply can't be friends. Are you pretty sullen at school though?

No, not usually... I'm all 'hi! How's life?'
And I am not a dork. I swear. I'm horribly vain.
There's no shame in being horribly vain. I'm horribly vain about my lips and my shoes. I can be extremely superficial.
Okay, let me ask you this, and give it some thought - How do you think that the people who's opinions matter to you perceive you?
Lemme know in 15 minutes. I gotta take a shower. (Not related to you. heh. hehehe.)

Tiff, it's ok. I'm not into cybersex, you go take that cold shower.
I've beaten that to death, wondering what people think of me. In some cases, I know why they don't like me- I look down on their drug-doing, we had a fight (which i still maintain was provoked...). But the general population? I don't know.

Hi all! I just turned down an invite to stay home! 'I'm not feeling too well' Just put on my comfy Snoopy slippers. Why aren't I out mis-spending my youth??
I'm old before my time.
And insomniak, I read your post from a little while back -
there's this guy that I've known forever who's always really over-friendly to me, and I'm never sure whether he's mocking me either! He's always hanging out with his Fred Durst-alike buddies, and always makes a point of yelling out 'HI ELLIE', even if I'm I'm the other side of the park or whatever. I never know whether to ignore him or what...I ususally just mumble a meek Hi and slope off embarassed. Oh well, I don't like him anyway.

Well comparitive would suggest two books... it think? You would be comparing two books, or one book against something else. But I may be wrong.
Tiff: Yes, we saw the lovely port cities of Civitavecchia, Livorno, and Naples, but mostly through the windows of a bus.
Everyone: How was your last night? I saw 'Polar Express' in IMAX 3-D. I can't imagine seeing it any other way.
Good Morning. I just got home from my all night cast party. mmmmmmmmm so tired and sleep deprived. The guy I had a crush on cuddled with me for the end of the party and talked almost the whole time, thus my lack of sleep. mmmmmmmmm. good times. No angsting for me today.

Hi kids and twentysomethings! I finally had time to come on today! Just got back from work. Who's missed me? Huh?
Musicalmjk - I adore doing comparitive book reviews/analysis like you can't imagine. What are the books? I'll even write you an outline. (Seriously. I enjoy essay writing. Good thing too - I've got 2 due next week!)
Tiff, thanks for the willingness to help. Alright the books are
The Potosi Mita, 1573-1700 by Jeffery A. Cole
and
Coercion & Market: Silver Mining in Colonial Potosi 1692-1826 by Enrique Tandeter
Yeah for history! I started working on it today doing a page on each of the books and then comparing them on the next 2-3 pages then conclusion on the last page. Does that sound like a good comparative book review?
