Another great book is "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson. It's told from the P.O.V. of a highschooler who is a loner because she was at a party and called the cops. It's another quick, great book.

o0o i did that once. maybe that's why everyone hates me. but i only did it because it was like a frickin mosh pit! the backyard was like HUGE and it was FILLED with people. you could hardly move!

"Speak" sounds interesting.

Musts for any American: any book by Al Franken or Michael Moore.

Series I like: The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, the Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian
