Sorry, but I don't see where you can compare the two. if someone has a gun and shoots someone, it was deliberate. I believe this woman was in a mad frenzy, and everything she hit was accidental. Not the same as pointing and shooting. (haha, get the photography reference?)

During the chase, possibly. But the whole thing began with her trying to ram through a barricade.

It can't be accidental if you run down an officer because he is in your way of getting past a security barrier.

I don't think she knew what she was doing, the woman wasn't in her right mind. I mean, taking her child with her to ram through barricades?

Bottom line - I don't think death should be the penalty of ramming through a barricade, or any of the other things. SUBDUE.
