Are they kidding? No Van Helsing? Even Hugh couldn't save that load of crap.

I'm rooting for Rumsfeld to take home the Worst Supporting Actor trophy.

Julie Newmar is the one and only Catwoman

Julie Newmar is the one and only Catwoman. Julie is the sexiest woman in the history of women. She shaped my sexuality when I was 13. She had lost some of it by the time she played Catwoman but when she did Li'l Abner in '59 and Marriage-Go-Round in '60, she was incredible! I kept her picture under my bed. Here is a link to Julie Newmar pics. I hope I get it right: http://www.spiritone.com/~darren/early.htm

Would Condi and Rummy show up, I wonder?

The mind reels at what that dusty Newmar picture under Colyer's bed must look like all these decades later.

Personally, I'm partial to Eartha Kitt's Catwoman (but have no pictures of her under my bed, or anywhere else for that matter).

yeah... even when I was five and I thought that I was watching a new series as I had no concept of reruns... Eartha Kitt was my favorite Catwoman. The Razzies.

We can all agree Lee Merriwether's Catwoman did not make the cut

Both Newmar & Kitt have different things to recommend re their performance but I give Kitt the edge

The only person who has ever shown up to accept a Razzie is Paul Verhoeven the year that Showgirls swept the board.

I'm glad that Catwoman has topped the nominations here. It deserves every last one for ruining what could have been so easily fantastic.

But what's the deal with all the acting nominations for Fahrenheit 9/11? That's really pointless.

I agree with just about all of them except Ben Stiller. I thought he was quite funny in Along Came Polly, Starsky and Hutch (Do it!) and Dodgeball. And I would replace Alexander with Chronicles of Riddick for worst picture. One of the few films of the year I simply could not finish.

Has Ben Stiller been nominated for all 3 movies? That's a little harsh. I haven't seen Polly, and Starsky & Hutch was underwhelming, but his performance in Dodgeball is uproarious.

Stiller was nominated for five films which also included Envy and Anchorman.

Two others I didn't see. I might netflix Envy although people who did see it warned me not to waste precious minutes of my life. And I hate Will Ferrell with the burning passion of 1000 suns, so I will never see Anchorman.

popculture - I am totally with you on Will Farrell. I don't see why people think he's funny. And to think he's Darren in the new Bewitched film....sigh....

I had a free ticket to the preview of Envy, but I went with my instinct and avoided it.

Haven't seen either of those movies, for obvious reasons. I really can't deal with him.

I really enjoyed Old School and Elf, and so loved him on SNL.

Elf was fabulous. Ferrell has an uncanny ability to look like a wide-eyed, curious little boy

i'm not such a big will fan, and hated most of what he did on snl. i tolerated him in old school (the streaking bit was worth the rest). i loved elf as a sweet good hearted movie. did you see it matt? i thought you'd like it. he's quite toned down in that as he was to an extent in anchorman which was quite funny the first time through and
