At least the "celebs" on Fit Club have a reason to be there. THe Surreal Lifers really are just trying to extend their 15 minutes of fame. At least Fit Club is a better cover for extending their 15 minutes.

I would venture to say Surreal Life is below Fit Club... at least the people in Fit Club have a purpose other than being filmed 'living' with each other.

Ya know, Cher is making a freaking TON on tour. She turned 59 in May. Why else would she be touring for four years? I have justified the tour length by thinking she was making more than enough money for Chas and Elijah would never worry about a penny. You wouldn't think Chas would need the money. Other than money, why would Chas do the show? I can't imagine her standing there showing off her body and weighing in every week. She seems much more private than that.

Bruce Vilanch is gonna be GREAT...lol.

Celeb Fit Club has a need to cast at least 1 person who really doesn't want to be there, or loose weight. It was Steven Tyler's daughter the first season, and now it's Tocarra. I imagine that Bono is taking up their "I don't want to be here and I'm going to be angry about it the whole time" slot.

I had to ask what a Bizarre was, didn't I? *shudder*

And Young M.C. basically had one big hit with "Bust a Move." He was known at the time to be a "safe" middle class, college-educated rapper who was working on his degree (in Finance?) during his brief career. I think he might have put one or two more albums after his big hit, then left the business (he never seemed to have much drive for stardom) and went back and got his MBA and hasn't really looked back (until now I guess).

I have no clue how they get the unwilling to be there but they manage to get at least one every season. Maybe Bono thinks it is a dating show?
