Cher's tour opened last night in Arizona and will be in Houston tomorrow night. Did anybody go? Or will go? I don't see this until mid May. I did see the setlist and was a little disappointed. I had really hoped Save Up All Your Tears would be included, but it wasn't. A lot of the same songs as before.
I'm seeing it in Raleigh in May. I was also hoping for SUAYT and Favorite Scars but Im happy that she has mixed up the set list and dropped SHFWILF. ..it was time for that song to retire.
I saw some instagram videos from last night's show. Looks fun. :)
I'm glad about STFU and BPMOLD. I do wish she'd open with either LDYTANDF or MQWLD. I heard her costume change for PRULTYCV is amazing and her EEDFC, GHENMO & OOXRAS costumes had the audience screaming!
Jebus I love you Jordan , that made me laugh out loud.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I wonder what she's wearing since Bob Mackie didn't do her costumes, for the first time ever.

Why on earth did she not use Mackie? She DOES look pregnant in that. She's a little curvier than usual, but from the side, it looks fine. From the front it looks like she's heading to L&D.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!
The fans and press seem to love it and the fact that she has been a superstar with hits during six decades may not mean much to ageists, but, whatever.
I assume it's the same show director as her last tours (and Vegas?) as it does seem similar in overall look, even with the faux-Mackie costumes (did they get in some fight I missed hearing about?) But, really, isn't that what anyone would expect? I appreciate that this time she at least is doing a couple more songs from her most recent album, even if it meant dropping Take Me Home... Doesn't look like I'll be going this time, but it looks like another success for Cher to me. *shrug*
Thanks Dame--I thought the choreography was similar so thought it would be Doriana (who I only know by face for doing the disco routines on So You Think You Can Dance.)
I don't think this is being promoted as a comeback tour. Nealb1, this will be my third. The second time felt too similar to the first. Hopefully, with different songs included and different staging of songs, it won't feel so "familiar". But since this is your first time, you will have a blast. Also, you have Cyndi Lauper as an opening act.
I believe this is the second if you count the two legs of the Farewell tour as one. I saw the first leg with Cyndi as the opening act and then nearly two years later when I went it was... the Village People. Kinda a step down.
The Believe tour, I saw, had Wild Orchid (with Fergie) and Cyndi as opening acts. The Living Proof tour, I think I had Cyndi again. Can't remember and can't find it on the internet. This third time, again with Cyndi, will be my last. To threadjack my own thread, I saw Miley Cyrus in concert Monday, and had a blast. Don't hate, her Bangerz cd is very good.
