Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr Pepper tastes like...

It's ok, but it kind of plays with your mind. I mean, it tastes EXACTLY like a cherry tootsie pop.

JG2, maybe there's a caffeine-free variety of it.

I want to at least try it although it sounds more like something my husband would like, he loves chocolate covered cherries. I always make sure he gets some on special occasions. - Barb

Jbara - I don't believe they do.

In fact, they don't even have a non-diet version.

I hear its only available till April. This flavor is a trial run.

ah, thanks, mateo, too bad. I usually drink regular diet (prefer Coke, but I'll buy Pepsi products if they're the ones on sale). When I drink non-diet, I prefer it be sweetened with sugar cane rather than corn syrup, and those are hard to find. Even the little glass bottled Cokes have corn syrup now. The grocery store nearest me usually has some single glass bottles of RC and a few others that are sugar cane-sweetened. I like Whole Foods' Cola - caffeine and sodium free and sweetened with sugar cane. It tastes different than any cola I've ever had though, took me a little while to get used to the taste. - Barb

I saw a commercial for this the other day and felt ill. Maybe a combination of one or two would be ok, but all of it together? Ugh.

JbaraFan, Not sure where you're located, but in Southern California there are tons of Mexican markets/grocery stores that carry Mexican Coca-Cola. The Mexican version has a more complex flavor than American Coke.

Thanks, Horse Tears. I'm in the south ... and yeah, I have found some sugar cane colas in Mexican groceries here, although seems like last times I checked even the big glass bottles of name brand colas, like Coke, there had corn syrup. Maybe a combination of sugar and corn syrup. - Barb

I love Chocolated Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper. It's my new favorite since I'm tired of cherry vanilla Diet Dr. Pepper.

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

I love Dr. Pepper and especially the cherry vanilla Diet Dr. Pepper. But to me this stuff tastes horrible. I couldn't even finish the can.

ooo, i gotta try the chocolate cola at johnny rockets...

i want to try it, i definitely dont think that i would crave this if i were really thirsty cause it doesnt sound particularly refreshing but it sounds like it could be a good thing to sip on when your craving something sweet
