Christmas In The City

Had a great time yesterday visiting Bryant Park and one of our most favorite places .

We visited the Campbell Apartment in Grand Central station. Super great spot which brings back memories. We had not been there in awhile. Mrs R had a "Prohibition Cocktail" & I had 2 great Bloody Marys. We shared a humongous appetizer with a free bowl of hot popcorn drizzled with truffle oil. We have to make sure we do not wait until next Christmas to go again. Great spot not known to many that does not rip you off especially at Christmas.We than went to the shops in Vanderbilt Hall. If you want a nice secluded spot, this is for you

We will try getting to Union Square next weekend. We want to share time at Christmas time and these places brought back memories of years past

Oh, wow, SNAFU--that's wonderful! They are amazing, as always!

Reginald, they have always called when they need animal heads. We have been doing their windows on and off for years. A few years back their men's store across the street featured Polar Bears boxing with wolves betting and a walrus referee. There were others that had peguins and mountain goats, those were all ours. I LOVE working on those windows, they are always the BEST in the city!

David Hoey, their main designer, begins the next year windows right after New Year!
