Robb, that is TERRIBLE. I can't imagine anyone having the nerve to offer to buy something and then not do it. Worse still would be someone who took money for something and never delivered the item! Thanks for the warning.

You can always donate plasma if you aren't squeemish about needles. I have never tried it, but I have a friend who goes once or twice a week. The first time its like $50 after that its around $20-$30 per donation.

In college we used to sell our plasma for cash. In those days the price was $15/20.

Problem is that they have to take out 2 pints of blood in order to get 1 pint of plasma. Also, you can't do it every day. I would imagine that one is limited to one sale per week. So you might have to start immediately to build up cash over the next two months.
