What's a classic film you've just never seen...and why not?
I have never seen "Star Wars". Yes, me and a few people who have never heard of electricity. Just not a big sci-fi fan and the snippets I've seen on TV...ho hum.
*running away from all you SW devotees!*

Add my name to the list of those who have never seen "It's a Wonderful Life." I've seen parts, but never the entire way through start to finish. The same can be said about "Gone With the Wind" and "The Godfather".
I worry that if I watch them now, they won't live up to the hype...

Posted: 11/22/04 at 3:01pmSo far all of you people are missing out on some good film viewing! Please tell me you have been busy doing something important - if you say that you haven't seen these classics but you've seen some of the crap in current release I will have to slap you upside the head.

BT -- If I say that I've seen more theater than movies, is that acceptable?
Not that it's necessarily true...

Posted: 11/22/04 at 3:15pmI certainly have never thought of it as 'classic', but some people seem incredulous that I've never seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High (is that even the right title?)
#19re: Classic Film You've Never Seen
Posted: 11/22/04 at 3:17pmFast Times...is probably the funniest and most bluntly honest film about high school life ever. You should see it.

Posted: 11/22/04 at 4:15pmGone With the Wind and frankly, I'm not too interested in seeing it. I have read this parody of the book called "The Wind Done Gone." Good Book.

No Casablanca here either. I know it's a classic, but it seems so awfully boring. And how many times can the lines from one movie be quoted?
Now if Ms. Davis or Ms. Crawford had been it, I would've seen it long ago...
