Man I hated Shell almost as much as Demi Moore on GH.
I also never got Bobby either...she was such a distractingly mannered actress.

Yeah, it's weird that she's not even mentioned. Although she is annoying as hell, so not all that surprising!
Yes, doodle, they are keeping Denise eyeliner-free in order to keep her from becoming the gorgeous hot minx she was in the 70s.

Never as bad as when Demi Moore was on. Richard Simmons seemed to be doing Hamlet compared to her.

Bobbi gets on my last nerve. She's way past that wide-eyed ingenue style of acting of hers.
They're on now! I love seeing them together. Tony hardly ever does publicity!

Doodle, I hated Amy, too, but I think she should come back for the wedding. So should Mikey, Tiffany and Sean! And Scotty, for old times sake, should catch the bouquet again.
And where's Tony Jones? Is he dead?
I liked Demi Moore in her GH days (Jackie Templeton)! How gorgeous was she then? And so was her sister, the other Laura (Janine Turner). Wow!

Um...did you have to put the word "older" in there?

"Tony did die."
with his acting, how long was it before anyone in the audience noticed?

Rath, where the hell did Lucas go? That whole thing just fizzled away.
c'mon, Robb. Why're you raining on our parade?

RobbO, I think some of the acting is really good...Tony, Genie, the chick playing Lulu. The writing for thie storyline has been kind of sloppy, though. The way they attempted to tell the "backstory" last week, for example. The scene with Tony and Kimberly M (Robin) was awful ("Now refresh my memory, Luke..."). To be fair, as charismatic and wonderful as Tony Geary is, he's really challenged when working with an actor as sucky as Kim! With Genie, with the actress who plays Tracy...he's fabulous.

Tracy is played by the stunningly wonderful Jane Elliott.

oh, i'm not raining on the parade. i know there are good actors on the show, but watching it as an adult for the first time in a long time, i was just struck by how bad the acting was. and the writing. and the sets.
even so, gh will always be the only soap opera for me. i just long for the glory days, the ones for which this thread was created.
blue & doodle, you have my back, right?

Yeah. I'm enjoying the reunion, but it'll never be the same. The eighties ruled.
When Genie's storyline is over, I'm bailing. I don't really care about the other characters and I don't want to get all caught up in a soap in my thirties, unless it's the nighttime kind (Nip/Tuck, Desperate). Five hours a week of mandatory viewing is just too much for me!

eh? I cant hear ya...I must be going DEEF!
I can barely remember the olden days...I was a mere child when the two Lauras badly acted their way through Port Charles.
