Oh, right.

My power went out during AMC, which meant NO GH for me today. Some colorful cursing when I got home tonight. Boobs is DVRing it for me.
This best not happen tomorrow.

I was afraid to read your post until after I saw today's ep.

Posted: 11/16/06 at 8:07amYeah, I figured as much. I try not to put any spoilers in this thread until after 10PM. I may make comments alluding to happiness or aggravation, depending on the episode, but that's about it.

bdwaygirl...what do you think of the writing? I'm into Luke and Laura because, well, I'm INTO Luke and Laura. I love them, and their chemistry is keeping me tuned in. But I really am not happy about the way they're handling all of this--it's just sloppy. I think it could have been something spectacular. They needed to bring out the big guns and hire GREAT writers--I'm talkin' BJ/Maxie heart transplant category--for this.
And this Helena sucks ass. Fire that scrawny, chicken-necked bitch and give me La Liz. She was amazing!
I hope Scotty shows up.

I love Constance - and boy, do she and Luke together creep. me. OUT - but I stand by my statement that they should have brought Taylor back just for the wedding!

What can I say? Like RobbO, I'm stuck in the '80s when it comes to this show.
But yeah--Liz in a turban would be f--king amazing! Talk about a twist. She'd be 100 lbs bigger and walking with a cane but who cares? Those eyes are ageless.
Didn't she date Tony Geary for a while back then? I hear he is openly gay now.

She dated Geary?! Seriously?? I don't think he's openly gay. I think it's known around the industry, I only knew for sure when a soap diva I worked for a couple of years ago mentioned it to me when we were talking about him.
I've always found it more than a little intriguing that he and Nancy Lee attend the Emmys together. *always hoping*

The rule of thumb is, if Liz dated them and didn't marry them, they were gay. If she married them, they were bisexual.
LOOK at the long list of closeted homos she bearded for.

"bdwaygirl...what do you think of the writing?"
I'm extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to this whole thing, and they pretty much ruined it for me. Especially with the added "temporary recovery". I wish Gloria Monty's spirit could've invaded the writers fingers.

Me too! And, Jesus, you'd think they'd have Laura interact with frigging ROBERT SCORPIO, Bobbie, etc. They wasted a good several minutes on that stupid picture taking alone today. Tracy in the closet? Stupid. Tracy's antics and being carried off? Silly. I just think this had the potential to be something very, very special and they f--ked it all up. And soon Laura will be gone, and I 'll be going with her.
The viewers deserved AT LEAST an entire episode devoted to the wedding. I hated how they had to tie Ric, Sam, etc. into the whole thing. And I also hate how they waste screen time on that hideous cybergeek.
