I just went on the Home Depot site and entered the Enforcer to search. All the products which came up were called ZEP.

I can't believe this thread- I love it!

Caldwell also claims that despite what the spray bottle says, it is made by Zep. He is a Zephead.

This thread IS a kick. You really know how to start 'em. One day it's "How was the universe created?" and the next day it's "How do you clean wood floors?"

I think this clearly points to that wide expanse known as your brain, Jane. Or "The Janebrain" as we like to call it.

I think it really depends on the type of wood and more importantly the finish. Remember in cases of a heavily varnished floor you are really cleaning the finish, not the wood. I would hesitate to use something as harsh as Comet and an scrub brush on a nice wood floor, but for an old beat up "antiqued" floor, what do you have to lose, as someone said? Hell, take a chisel and scraper to give it that really old look.

Several Kir Royales can cure most ailments. At least that's been MY experience. You just have to find the right number for the ailment. And if you don't know what it is, you just keep sipping, right, Jaily?
