I've read that quote five times and still have no idea what it means.
Meanwhile, I can't wait to see Monopoly the movie. Jeremy Irons as the iron?

I know right?! Why can't they just leave well enough alone?
There's no way they can get anyone else but Jane Wiedlin (former GoGo) to say: I am your singing telegram...*boom* (For whatever reason that part of the movie ALWAYS cracks me up)

I think it's a good idea. The first one was hilarious, but they can remake this movie a million times with a bunch of different scenarios and I'd be happy with it. That is, afterall, what the game is all about.

The whole thing is full of gems (because it was so brilliantly cast, right down to the singing telegram girl), but one of my favorite moments is when the cop shows up and they have to find a way to hide the dead bodies. Wadsworth is unaware of the (ingenious) set up they've come up with, and is worried about being discovered. The cop tells him, "those people are just having a good time. There's nothing illegal about any of this. It's a free country." Wadsworth's response (dead-panned)- "I didn't know it was THAT free."

It's not like they're going to 'tape over' the only existing print of the original. No matter what they do, you will always have the first one to watch. If the new version is awful, it will be forgotten anyway.

Me too! Man I need to watch this movie again!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuPosted: 2/27/09 at 3:57pm

"We had had a very humiliating public confrontation, he was deranged...lunatic. He didn't actually seem to like me very much, he had threatened to kill me in public."
I miss Madeline!

WHITE: "He was always a rather stupidly optimistic man.
I mean, I'm afraid it came as a great shock to him when he died.
But he was found dead at home. His head had been cut off and
so had his...you know..."
The men in the room cross their legs.

WADSWORTH: But he was your second husband. Your first husband also disappeared.
WHITE:But that was his job. He was an illusionist.
WADSWORTH:But he never reappeared.
WHITE(shrugging):He wasn't a very good illusionist.
