Is it good, if you get a big letter/envelope or a regular sized envelope? This is in regards to like NYU, Northwestern, etc. I am hoping I get in.
Thanks,

in my recent experience... regular thin envelope= bad
larger envelope= good
but, i believe that larger envelopes are always good, where there is a possibility that a thin envelope can also be good

I know that NYU sends rejections in small envelopes.
But they still bombard you with junkmail for the next 4 years.

NYU also sends wait-list letters in small envelopes, though.

Some schools send the acceptance/deny letters individually and send you the big acceptance envelope afterward. I know Duke did.

Yeah, really, don't rely on the size of the envelope. I got this small thin envelope from Fordham and it turned out I got a full academic scholarship, and I know people that have gotten large envelopes only to be rejected. Good luck with your acceptances!
My acceptance letter for Vocal Performance came in a regular size envelope.

The envelope myth is exactly that--a myth.
Just a myth. I got my acceptance letter in a normal envelope and my friend got her rejection letter in a normal envelope. We both applied to the same school.
that must have been a fun situation...
It was ok because she didn't really want to go where I go. She applied to get her parents off her butt about it.
