I love how the mom said "you probably deserved it" and then goes on national TV saying the kid shouldn't have been sprayed.

In a different article the mom was quoted as saying the kid only acts that way at school - never at home. If true - home school him!

Is it wrong that I want to call them white trash?

I saw them on the morning talk shows this morning. I hated everything about both of them.

Whew, it's not my nephew.

Same here, Addy. I also wondered why both ABC and NBC thought it was necessary to interview them. I turned both channels off when they were on.

I did, also, Dottie.

I had NBC on and when they started the interview I switched to ABC. I watched a bit of that, and then turned it off. The only part I enjoyed was watching Elizabeth Vargas basically telling the kid to shape up, and restraining herself from calling the mother worthless.

I hate when they give these idiots air time.

I just moved from Denver in January. Since I have moved there have been fires, shooting, robberies and now pepper spraying. I need to go back and whip that state back into shape!

I think this child may have behavior problems that he may not be able to control along with a parent that isn't attending to them properly at home. That's just based on the bit I saw on the news about it earlier.

I was thinking the kid may have an undiagnosed learning disability and this was his way of acting out over not understanding the work. I'll have to find the link but as I stated above the mom said he doesn't do that stuff at home. My thought was that having trouble with his school work plus probable taunting from fellow students could be stemming these outbursts. It's probably a mix of behavioral problems and learning problems.
