Erika, I'd love to come see you. Of course, I'm billions of miles away. re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)

DG - The rumor is that CURTAINS is planned for a Broadway run as soon as they can get a theater, so no need for me to scrounge for a ticket to LA. re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)

Rath: billions and BILLIONS of miles away... (My small tribute to Carl Sagan...) re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)

Judas: thank you so much! And yep, it's awfully fun. =)

ashley: Well, if you were planning on going to D-land anyway, be sure to let me know, and I can get you on the VIP seating list for the show.

What a very nice thing to offer erika. I actually can get in gratis, but I wish I could get to DL to see you in the show. No plans until next year for California. Best wishes to you and thanks again! (I still see a likeness of Megan Mullally in the pic.)

WoW! That is a lovely offer. And I'd come in a heartbeat. It's a 3 hour drive but...class, damnit, class!!!!

I'm dying to go up there when John Targalia is doing his show.

That is really sweet of you to offer that to people you barely know.

Whoa, this is an awesome opportunity, especially with all the stupid blockout dates I have on my pass.

But.

My mom would freak out if I said, "Oh, someone I know on the internet is getting us in free."

It has worked once. Maybe it'll work again...

*is thinking about it*

Yea, I never realized how stupid I was until I read gav's post.

Somehow I remembered her saying she is from California. Then I realized DisneyLAND is in California.

I was thinking DisneyWORLD in Florida.

Ok- and that was my stupidity for today.

Erika-

How long is the show running, I heard a rumour it's back for it's last season? I'll be there for Gay Days the first weekend in October, Friday through Sunday. Would love to see you in the show!

Erika, you are so great to do this! I wish I could take you up on your offer, but I'll be a week into your blackout period, unfortunately.

I'm bringing my (visiting) dad to Disneyland sometime the week of July 15th. We will definitely try to catch your show! If we do, I'll try to get word to you backstage and say hi. But Dad's the "shy" type, so I may have to miss out on the fact-to-face howdy with you because of him. I certainly don't want to make him feel uncomfortable. Regardless, I'll let you know if we do see the show.

Your offer here was so generous. You're a class act, m'dear!

Have the powers at "The Mouse" revealed what they're going to do with the theatre, once the show has closed? I'm also curious as to why the show is closing -- I mean, that version of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Disney-MGM is STILL running after 10+ years (it seems), and I think it's far inferior to the SNOW WHITE show at Disneyland!

Just seems like a lot of money to develop a top-notch show for a theme park, and than close it after 2 years...

vbplayer: My pleasure! And hey, like I said, I've never gotten Megan Mullally before, but I'll take it. re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)

gavrochegirl: No worries. I understand how parents are. My mother wouldn't let me go to the Duran Duran concert at Madison Square Garden because she'd never met the parents of the girl who offered to take me...and I knew her from CCD class! (For the non-Catholics, that's like Sunday School, but we were teeangers preparing for Confirmation.) Oh, and the tickets were 3rd row center. :-P

SweetQintheLights: Yes, Disneyland is in CA. Opened in 1955. Still celebrating the 50th anniversary, even though we're well into the 51st year, now. hehehe

jarretSF: Sadly, we close on Labor Day. =( We were originally told the show was coming back just for this summer, but apparetly it's going so well, and the feeback's been so good, that they're considering bring it back every year. Just in the summer, though. (During peak season.) I'm bummed we won't be running during Gay Days. The cast always loved Gay Days! You all were the best audiences we'd have all year...well, you and the Goth kids who came on Goth Day.

best12bars: It would be great if you could come! Definitely let me know if you end up doing so. =) FYI, the "face-to-face howdy" takes place just to the side of the stage - just through this door at house left - so, if you wanted to, your dad could conceivably stay in his seat and hang out for 2 minutes while you came over, said hi real quick, and went back to his seat. Just a thought. re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)

Flippancy: Well, it's weird. As I just said to jarretSF, we may be coming back every summer, now. We already "closed" once. Back in September '05. We heard rumors we may come back for the summer, but I know I didn't believe it until I got the offer back in January. re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =) So, we're back for the summer, closing again on Spet 4th, but now there are more rumors that we may come back next summer, too. I know that while we were dark, they were using the theatre for various special events, etc. They may just continue doing that during the year, and bringing us back in the summer. 'Cause I agree with you: why would you spend so much money on a gorgeous show with phenomenal sets, just to tear it all down after 2 years? (And everyone says our show's the best show in the park, anyway! hehehe) It's all very strange, but who knows what the bean-counters were thinking? They obviosuly know stuff we don't. re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)

I wish Disneyland wasn't 3000 miles away. I bet your show is really amazing, and I've only been to Disney (Disneyworld) once, when I was little. That's a a very generous offer, though, and it's really nice of you to make it available to us.

Awwwww... Thanks, duroc! I figured, why not? I have these sign-in's available, I love meeting people anyway, and all it costs me is a little effort walk across the park to go sign people in at the gate. =)

I'm going at the end of August, so the free tickets don't apply to me(and I'm going with my family, which is four people) but now that you're back in it(will you still be there in August?) I'll have to see the show!

Lorelai: Yes, I will still be in the show in August. PM me when it gets closer, and I can get you guys on the VIP seating list and meet you after the show, if you like. =)

Elphaba: hehehe Got it.

UPDATE: I've ended up having to switch my schedule around a bit for the week of July 9th - 14th, so just in case anyone was thinking of coming then, I am now working SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY that week. I will NOT be working Friday the 14th. =)

Erika, I haven't been able to get a hold of my brother yet. We've been playing phone tag. Anyway, since you are now working on Sunday that would work out so much better because my brother and his wife work during the week.

P.S. Did you get my PM?

What a cool video, Erika! I love it! That costume change made my head hurt, though (due to me trying to figure out how it happens- unless it's a different person (though I'm sure you're not allowed to tell me re: Come to Disneyland for FREE! =)))
