New Yorkers -you can get kasha varniskes at the Edison Cafe or any authentic Jewish deli.
Better yet, get a kasha knish at Yonah Shimmel's (Houston St. near 2nd Ave. - a block from Katz's Deli)

I love pancakes, but Chocolate is usually the answer - morning, noon, or night.
