Whoa, Roxy, back up. What cookbook are you referring to?
I love Mac & Cheese, but I'm restricting myself to Weight Watchers & Healthy Choice brand.
At my WW meeting this week it was very comforting to hear that nearly every member was having an ESPECIALLY hard time sticking to program this month. Everybody was either too cold, cranky, depressed or in a "I don't WANNA go work out" mood. I did not feel so bad.

To Master Lc Z
The book I refer to is a nifty little book about the Automats in NYC. In the back they have receipes for their famous dishes. If you are on weight watchers, steer clear as they are not low cal. Great tasting but full of all the things you are not supposed to have such as calories & taste etc etc

With moderation one can have it all and not be in self-denial.

p.s. but who wants to be moderate?

I am rather partial to equal parts of Velvetta Cheese and Hormel Chili (without beans) microwaved until blended, and served with corn chips, Doritos, etc.

Nothing like homemade Key Lim Pie...with real key limes.
None of the stuff you think is Key Lime Pie.
I'm talking Flaky pie crust, golden yellow sweet/sour custard filling covered with mountainous peaks of browned and caramelized merengue.
I grew up with it as the dessert of choice and there's nothing like it!

Yeah, but who sells REAL key limes in NYC, BB!? Not Fairway! And I've looked...year after year.
I myself am partial to the Eagle Brand lemon meringue pie, but I use lemon juice instead of RealLemon (which is what the recipie does call for).

NO NO NO ! Never bottled lemon juice!
(I think I'm sounding like Crawford and her wire hanger phobia.)
Natural lime juice only. As for Key Limes, one has sources one never reveals.
