re: comment on the signature above you.

Okay, so that's 10-2 to Mary. I think we know who's going to win...
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

I LOVE the wedding singer
Fear no more the heat o' the sun, Nor the furious winter's rages; Thou thy worldly task hast done, Home art gone and ta'en thy wages: Golden lads and girls all must, As chimney-sweepers, come to dust. ~Cymbeline

Isn't 'chad' also the name of the little paper bit left in a hole puncher?

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

And Starbucks will use the words 'large' and 'small', not pretentious crap like grande and tall.

I think linnie's quote is so true. (That kid is so smart.)

Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes

I love your elphaba. It's hilarious and true. And God, i hate the swiss. Well, not all of them, but the ones I knew at least, they were such idiots. They do make nice private planes though. (Pilatus).

He is pretty awesome...

And according to Drowsy I am hoplessly deranged....oh well.

Stunning as in people will hit the deck, blinded by your radiance?

And yes, he is pretty awesome.

'If you reach for the stars, Mr. Bush, you will see,
You'll find yourself a great deal of pain...
If you reach for the heavens,
You will go insane...'

Nope, it doesn't work.

BTW, yours sounds like something my very old-fashioned aunt would say.

Perhaps:

you'll find yourself a great deal of pain re: comment on the signature above you.
And if you reach for Iran(e)
you will go insane

*lol*

As for my lyrics it's from a song in which that character also moans that he can't have children working in coal mines any more. It's perfectly poetic and yet gharstly cynical.

YAY! You finally picked ONE! Good choice, too. I meant to PM you with my opinion, but I never got around to it. I have better things to do, you know. :)

re: comment on the signature above you.

Which one would you have preferred, SM?

I like yours, when did you say that? I'm afriad to say it's so true, that'd be a bit off.

re: comment on the signature above you.

There's nothing "off" about my signature; it's a perfectly normal sentiment. I always say it because it's true in my case.

Of the three you had, I preferred the MARY POPPINS quote.

I thought that when someone gives you lemons you should use them as inspiration for a new musical.
