#50No agreement due to House GOP
Posted: 9/26/08 at 1:02pmI wish it was just the Carter/Mondale years again. Then Bush would've been gone four years ago. Instead we've suffered an eight year non-stop slide that shows no signs of easing. My state has lost over 400,000 jobs since Bush entered office.

"Why do the Dems care that the Republicans aren't on board?"
If this wasn't an election year, the plan would have gone through.
Dems have enough majority to get their deal pushed through. They want to leave the taxpayer holding the bag, but GOP won't sign on to that and Dems don't want it to come back on them.

The difference between right and left is a person wishing for the Carter years.
Could you go on TV and say that every day between now and the election. Reminding voters that Barry is another Jimmy is one sure way to get a result in this election.

It doesn't matter what nicknames you use, McCain and palin are still losing.
Most voters seem to see Barry as another Ronnie--and that just makes your nipples shrink, doesn't it?
