I find that muddling some real limes is a good trick, and I tend to use a bit more cranberry. Most people like my cosmos, because they are less boozey.
If I'm making them for myself, **** the cranberry.

Has anyone noticed that since the New York Times declared "rose" the new It-drink, hipsters (and I loathe that word) everywhere have been drinking nothing but rose?
I was at Trader Joe's wine shop, and had to laugh when I noticed they were completely sold out of every rose.

does this mean I can finally feel ok about having loved white zinfandel since the age of 14? :)
I will be having one HUGE martini after the show tonight. Rrrrrreal dirtylike.

The NYT did note that rose is not, in fact, White Zin. Drink the Zin at your own un-trendy risk!
I love a cold rose on a hot day, but the whole hipster thing turns my stomach.
