I LOVE Cottage Cheese.

It's a real delicacy here in Poland, they have it sweet and savoury...

Anyone else like Cottage Cheese?

There is a polish restaurant here that serves Cottage cheese with Green Onions chopped up in it...Man I wish I could say "Damn that is Good!" so I could yell it out everytime I take a bite!

in that case, I guess it's okay. but I prefer it on a cracker or something. I can't just eat it plain.

I love cottage cheese! I can remember going to my Grandma's when I was little to visit, and if we stayed late enough she would make us dinner. Usually porkchops, appleuce, and always, alway, ALWAYS cottage cheese. Good memories. I can eat an entire carton in one sitting, and I love it with pineapple.

Joe, We eat that quite a lot.

The other is Cottage Cheese with sugar rolled inside Pancakes...

Ooh everyone please share your cottage cheese recipes! I've only ever had it plain, with pineapple, or in lasagna. I need to vary it up a bit.

When I was a kid, my mum as a treat would buy me a tub of Cottage Cheese and a lettuce.

This was the ultimate treat for me!

I'd put cottage cheese inside a lettuce leaf, and eat...

Oh, the memories...I'm having cravings!

To make that Cottage Cheese with Green Onions is very easy.

You need to buy special POlish Cottage Cheese. It comes, not in a tub, but in a block of cheese like most other cheeses.

Use a fork to break the block up, add salt and chopped green onions and...

VOILA!

mix your favorite cottage cheese with some shredded zucchini, chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions and some Italian seasoning. put it on your favorite cracker and devour it.
