My friend comes down often from northern Florida and usually stays with me.
She is ALWAYS asleep before me and talks in her sleep- constantly. She asks a question and answers herself- it's quite amusing.
So, one day we spent the day together and we talked about her directing class. That night in her sleep, she asked "Are you the director?" and instead of letting her talk to herself, I answered. I said "Of course I am and you better listen to what I say." She frantically said "I did, I did, don't yell at me!" I then told her she can direct too and she asked me how...the conversation went on for almost 4 minutes and it made total sence.
She didn't remember it at all the next morning.

I talk in my sleep a lot. I also apparently sometimes sit up and talk. My friend was staying over once and she woke up to see me sitting upright, examining my hands. I asked her "Did you see that?" "What?" "That commercial." "No, I was asleep." "Oh." And I kept looking at my fingers.
I don't know.

A very old friend of mine visited from Israel and slept on my floor a few years ago, upon which I found out that she'd become a sleep talker. She evidently thought I was her sister. o_O
And at least you all didn't leap to the conclusion that you were being visited by space aliens or succubi or anything.

One night, my roomate at school sat up in bed, looked right at me, and said "I don't want anymore popcorn". He immediately went right back to sleep.

Recently at a sleep over my friend woke up and just started yelling and screaming at us then like hit my other friend in the face because as I quote, "you whipped your freakin fingers at me"....
And another recent time I was sharing a room with my moms boyfriends like 6 year old son who woke up looked out the window and was like: "i don't wanna watch this show change the channel"
lol. mine are more funny cause its nearly time for me to pass out sleep and I don't wanna thing about the creepness that scarred me as a child and still does.

So one night I had this dream that we had 5 squirells, 10 chipmunks, four rabbits and six ducks in our backyard. 3 days later.. we did.
I also randomly go downstairs and my dad thinks I'm awake. We have conversations for a long time and I go back up stairs. I have no recalection of it.
I also commonly dream when I dream..

I woke up and I was looking out my window and someone was looking back in at me. I tried to scream but I couldn't. When my eyes finally adjusted I realized that it was my reflection. (My bed was right next to the window)
Also, my first roommate randomly started talking in her sleep and in the middle of saying something about brushing her teeth started cackling like a witch. It was so freaky. I rolled over (we had bunk beds and I was on top) and hit her in the face with my pillow.

In some of my dreams, a man who looks like the Grim Reaper is chasing me down a hallway. I try to scream, but I can't. It feels like there are cotton balls stuck in my mouth and I can't talk or anything.
Another time, I looked at my alarm clock and thought it was 7 in the morning. Thinking my parents overslept I get dressed and go into my parents room and wake them up. My mom looks at the clock and it's actually 2:30

After I saw The Exorcism of Emily Rose, I couldn't fall asleep until after 3 am; "The Devil's Hour". I was so afriad of demons.
And then, do you know Monseiur Marius, I believe I was a little in love with you.

I have a few stories. The first two aren't mine, but they're funny/scarry, so they're worth mentioning.
1.) My cousin was putting his 2 year old daughter to bed. Apparantly he fell asleep, and as he was waking up, still half asleep, he saw a huge spider on the ceiling, so he reached up and grabbed it and ran down the hallway to take it outside and kill it. So his wife sees him and asks what he's doing with the bed canopy! He'd grabbed the fabric canopy off of their daughter's bed!
2.) I had a friend in college who's roomate would sit up in her sleep screeming in German.
I used to wake up with my head at the foot of my bed, and my feet at the top. That doesn't happen now, but if I'm sleeping alone, I do sometimes wake up sideways across the bed.
I had bad dreams a lot as a kid, so my mom taught me how to make new endings for my dreams so I could go back to sleep, and as I got older I could change the ending before I woke up.
My grandpa and I were really close, and several times I would have dreams that he died. Each time, I'd find out in the morning that he had gone to the hospital the evening before.
I've also done the whole incorporating sounds into my dreams--like telephone rings, or my roomate coming home.

My sister goes to sleep like normally up and down on the bed, the she'll wake up and be completly side to side. Like instead of her head at her pillow, it's at the wall that her bed is pushed up against

I can't do this anymore, but when I was younger, I used to be able to have some sort of control over my dreams. Whenever I was having a dream that I didn't enjoy, I'd say to myself in my dream, "change the channel" and my dream would then change. It was very strange, but during that time I could remember each and every one of my dreams in detail.

Oh, and I almost always remember my dreams. I'm sure I don't remember all of my dreams throughout the night, but I do remember at least one dream a night. And sometimes I dream in 3rd person, like I'm watching a movie of me in the dream.

I always dream in first person. It's weird, I actually control my dreams.
