Posted: 5/28/10 at 3:33pmRe-reading my comments, i realize some might misinterpret my stance as being dismissive of Crystal or Chris- that is not the case. I understand how some might enjoy their teeny bopper, bubblegum style songs, I just prefer artists of more artistic integrity. To each his own.

Is anyone suprised she got a contract? It's been the norm for many of the runner ups.
While I tought this was the most boring seasons, I was rooting for her to win. She was far more talented than Lee, but let's face it: more chicks watch/vote and they'll vote the cute factor before talent for a large part. ESPECIALLY the age group that is most likely doing the lion's share of the voitng. I've only ever picked up the phone when my dd has asked me to do so.
I'll keep an eye for her cd when it is released.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
